*Role: Java Architect* *Duration: 12+ months Contract* *Location: San Francisco, CA* *Job Description* The Technical Lead who will work closely with onsite-offshore team, and responsible for translating the client's business requirements into specific system, application or process designs. This includes working with onsite team and Client business and technical team to respond to client project requirements and subsequently working with and leading others in the identification, justification and design of Client projects. Responsible for a wide range of activities such as providing technical guidance to onsite-offshore team, code quality, deployment on Client environment, support for UAT and Production (with help of developers) and participating documents, code review with Client team. The position requires solid knowledge, experience and background of API platforms (REST/JSON, Web services), mobile technology such as Native, Hybrid, Mobile Web (HTML5/CSS/JS), mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) and Java (Tomcat, Spring) as well as solid coding and design skills. Technical lead will establish and maintain design and coding standards, evaluate new technologies and technology platforms. TL should be able to help delivery manager in planning and overall delivery of projects. This role requires a team player who is well versed in the medium to large-scale software development, organized, detail oriented and able to work with onsite-offshore model and deliver results on time. *Responsibilities and Essential Functions * • Architecture, design and develop in APIs, Web services and Web Applications, and understand functional and technical requirements • Lead onsite-offshore coordination • Good knowledge of Java, Spring, REST/JSON, Web Services, Oracle DB, iPhone, Android applications and successfully managed and delivered medium to large projects • Collaborate, Lead, and Inspire other developers in the team • Test-driven Development • Actively investigate UAT, Production issues and code quality issues. • Hands on rapid prototyping experience *Education and Experience Requirements * • 15+ years experience in professional software development (Java, Tomcat, Oracle, Spring). • 3+ years experience in API platform (MuleSoft, IBM API Platform) • Knowledgeable in Java, Tomcat, Oracle, Spring, ANT, SVN, Unix, Objective C, iPhone SDK, Java, Android SDK, JQuery, JQuery Mobile and mobile development frameworks. • Released native/hybrid/web mobile applications on both iPhone and Android with tens of thousands of users • Strong experience in developing with user, functional and system requirements. • Excellent communication skills • Demonstrated ability to lead a group of engineers through the completion of all phases of a major project • Ability to effectively interact with product managers and other organizational units with Client such as Security, QA and Operations • Strong understanding of the server side software, scalability, performance and reliability aspects • Ability to work in a fast paced, test-driven collaborative and iterative programming environment • Proven experience with various mobile services such as location, messaging, multi-media, etc. • Proven aptitude-developing applications leveraging XML/JSON based RESTful/SOAP APIs. • Strong Proven Capability & track record in leading “Cutting Edge” mobile project and strong Knowledge in latest mobile communication protocol & implementation. • Capturing and tracking functional requirements across the organization and business units. • Proven interpersonal/negotiation skills • Ability to relate to people and effectively communicates under stressful circumstances. • Experience in Financial Services is a plus Thanks & Regards, Chandra | Technical Recruiter Technology Resource Group Inc. 3736 Hillsdale Court Santa Clara, CA 95051 Office: 408-709-1760 Ext : 914, Direct: 408-819-2075 *[email protected] <[email protected]>* | www.tresourceinc.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
