If you have any excellent match for this position please send me resume and contact details. *Please reply me your email at son...@e-solutionsinc.com <son...@e-solutionsinc.com>* *NOTE: If H1 candidate, We would require H1 copy at the time of submission or Before the Interview.* *Title: Database Administrator* *Duration: Fulltime/ Contractor* *Location: Hoboken, NJ, United States * Description: *Need onsite – offshore exp.* *Level 3 experience.* *Strong Migration exp needed* *Drive the project himself (do work himself also) and co-ordinate work of 30-40 offshore person* *Performance tuning, sql tuning, production support, core DBA (not Apps DBA)* *Insurance exp preferred (can also take from Citi, JPMC, capital one etc) * Basic Requirements • 8-10 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration • Excellent understanding of Oracle architecture and concepts • Good knowledge on Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g and Oracle 11gR1 and R2 Technical Skills • Install, configure and manage databases in large critical oracle database environment running on a 24x7 support • Restore databases, clone databases, perform schema refreshes, configure backups and monitor and trouble shoot backup failures and issues. Must have expertise in RMAN and other backup tools and methods • Performance tuning experience including instance tuning, tracing sessions, analyzing trace files, SQL Tuning. • Experience in setting up, configuring and troubleshooting physical and logical standby databases with and without dataguard. • Experience in User and privilege management, housekeeping of databases, auditing etc • Manage file system space and database space • DB creation and decommission • Participate in DR Drills and Restoration Drills • Experience in Real Application Clusters (10g/11gr2) setup, configuration, troubleshooting and general management including node addition, deletion etc • Must have good experience in ASM • Willingness to learn and adapt fast to new technologies is a must • Exposure/experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager (Grid Control) is desirable. • Participate and lead Severity one bridge calls and provide solutions to client • Good knowledge of the UNIX environment with Shell scripting skills is required. • Participate in change meetings, review and approve the changes Other Skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
