If candidates are coming from out of state, we would cover the round trip airline ticket, 1 night hotel stay and pick up/ to airport.* *Job Description:* Assignment Details Candidate will analyze, design, maintain, and develop complex and custom Microstation and other mapping programs used by Con Edison's Electrical Westchester/Bronx/Brooklyn & Queens mapping systems, Steam (SOMIS) mapping system, and the Steam Meter Room Piping Automation application. *Skills & Requirements * *Candidate must possess at least 10 years of professional Bentley Microstation mapping technology experience, specifically in MDL programming development and use of Microstation API with the Microsoft .Net framework. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years database design and application development experiences in Oracle, most recently 11g and 12c. Knowledge and/or experience in Microsoft development technology is a plus. * Candidate must possess exceptional inter-personal, oral and written communication, problem-solving and technical flexibility skills. Absolute integrity, in everything he or she undertakes, must be demonstrated at all times. Candidate must be able to multi-task and role-change between new development, problem-solving emergency issues, and changing priority day-to-day tasks. Candidate must be resourceful and enterprising in architecting efficient, cost-effective, and easy-to-use solutions to meet business users’ application needs. Candidate must be able to work independently on requirements gathering, scope, system design, development, testing, implementation, training and post-implementation technical support of the system/modules he or she is assigned. Multi-tasking and a hands-on approach to every task assigned are required skills. Candidate must demonstrate unshakeable integrity, good work ethics, responsibility, and personal accountability in everything they do while at Con Edison.
