Please find below requirement, if you are interested for the below position please let me know. *Requirement: Network Architect* *Location: Columbia, NC* *Duration: 3 Months* *DESCRIPTION: * Ability to assess and design networks for enterprise systems that are distributed and require a high degree of encryption and security. Ability to work without assistance; can provide leadership to others; ability to manage highly complex work efforts. This position requires an advanced degree in computer science and at least 10 years of experience in advance network design, development, and implementation. • Description (including, but not limited to): • Design of both the hardware and software necessary for a computer network • Specialization in Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), network security, router security, FTP, disaster recovery, hot backups, TCP/IP, virtual machines, and/or server/network infrastructure etc. • Must have at least 10 years’ experience in network design, development and installation. • Must have advance network diagramming skills use a tool like Visio. Desired skills: • Excellent writing skills • Excellent client communication • Strong organizational skills. • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Responsibilities include: 1. Assessment of DES network and associated connectivity to its infrastructure components. 2. Assessment of connection to the NC ITS network 3. Assessment of the technical connectivity requirements for the SCUBI network 4. Re-design of the DES IT network and infrastructure connectivity to support secure interfacing with the SCUBI cloud environment. 5. Documenting the re-design of DES IT network 6.
