PHASE 3 SENIOR DEVELOPER- CONSULTANT/LEAD SENIOR CONSULTANT
As a Senior Developer, you will be part of a Global Team working on a
critical Client project to decommission the legacy trading infrastructure.
The program will consist of a series of 13 subprojects designed to complete
the migration of all functionality currently supporting the Business in the
Americas, off the legacy platform, moving to supported environments and
leverage existing, targeted applications in order to more cost effectively
run the business. When complete, the program will have provided for
standardized tools for operational support, clearance, regulatory reporting
and risk management.
Required Technical Skills:
10+ years of experience working or consulting in the financial services
industry.
7+ years SQL server development experience.
5+ years Java development experience (JAVA, J2EE)
5+ years Unix development experience.
Experience in working on large, firm-wide projects in complex environments.
Strong software engineering background; should be able to work with project
team towards requirement analysis, solution design, development and testing,
UAT support and Implementation.
Prior knowledge and working experience on SunGard's Phase 3 product suite-
Nice to have!
Very good exposure to various SDLC methodologies (RUP, Use case, Agile,
Iterative).
Excellent client facing communication and consulting skills.
Highly self-motivated individual ready to work in challenging and fast paced
environment.
Preferable work location will be NYC or at Client site. Travel required
10-15%.
