(URGENT) *Location: Dallas* *Start Date: ASAP* *Duration: 6 Months +* *Detailed JD is as below* *Java Enterprise Architect leads the development, architecture and maintenance of distributed platform. The scope of the role includes the following: * *• Maintain the run-time operations of the platform * *• Work with business analysts to evaluate requests for changes or requests for implementing new systems * *• Lead the team through architecture and detailed design in order to implement required features. * *• Understand business and customer needs and ensure that the requirements meet those needs. * *• Understand the run-time configuration of the system and implement measures that facilitate continuous improvement * *• Understand integration points with other systems that interface with the eCommerce system * *• Create implementation plans based on functional and non functional requirements and provide schedule and effort estimates for system implementation * *• Provide technical leadership for the onshore and offshore teams * *• Document the architecture and create targeted presentations to relevant stakeholders. * *• Participate in product design meetings. Give technical advice to the organization. Provide architecture oversight of software development projects. * *• Establish architecture based testing procedures, and provide support to system testers. Support the bug fixing and maintenance process. * *• Evaluate and recommend enterprise software solutions. Manage the introduction of new software solutions. Perform technical feasibility studies of new technologies and architectures. Evaluate commercial tools and components. Maintain internal technical standards. * *• Evaluate and improve the code merging and branching strategy, automated unit tests, automated builds, and deployments* *General Qualifications: * *• B.E in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. Masters preferred. * *• Min. 12-15 years experience in IT, with at least 5 years in the capacity of Technical Architect * *• Mastery of Software Object Oriented design and implementation * *• Excellent communication and the ability to translate stated and unstated stakeholder needs into non functional system requirements * *• Ability to evaluate and analyze existing software architectures * *• Ability to lead the architecture and design reviews. * *• Ability to define and document software interfaces. * *• Ability to produce prototypes and production systems. Manage the software development cycle. * *• Ability to learn about, maintain and evolve existing systems and architectures.
