*Job Title : SAS Administrator* *Location : Boston, MA* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Qualifications:* • Expertise with installing SAS software, setting up SAS environment for large groups of users sharing data, patching, and troubleshooting issues required. • Strong SAS skills required on a Windows, Unix/Linux, or Mainframe platform; Unix/Linux experience • Demonstrated experience in operational security including access controls, data privacy, monitoring and logging and availability requirements that meet business continuity strategies • Expertise with developing analytic databases from various data sources and file types. *Duties:* • Monitor and maintain the SAS server through planning for adequate capacity and installation of necessary hardware and software. • Perform and schedule regular backups of server files in compliance with project requirements. • Manage SAS server licenses and assign roles to individual SAS users. • Manage server access, data privacy, monitoring, logging, and availability as needed by business requirements and privacy regulations. • Resolve user-reported problems and serve as the primary contact person for server SAS. • Train users on logging onto the server and use of SAS on the server; develop and/or recommend training materials. • Administer the scheduling of jobs and reports. • Analyze and document business and system requirements • Perform other tasks generally associated with the business analyst function, as needed -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
