Coordinating offshore deliverables. • Familiarity with a broad range of automation tools like Selenium, QTP, Coded UI etc • Self-starter with a positive attitude, willingness to learn new concepts and adapt to new technologies into current solutions *Communication & Behavioral Skills:* • Ability to work with minimal supervision while being very deliverable focused • High level English language skills, both verbal and written • The ability to tailor verbal and written communications to employees that have widely divergent experience with WCIRB software and hardware • Work closely with users, technical teams and vendor teams. The ability to function as a member of a team • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail • High level of flexibility and ability to persevere through periods of significant change and challenge in the business environment *Experience required:* 8+ years of testing experience with 1 to 2 years of onsite experience. *Roles & Responsibilities:* Position Objective • Review core project documentation and perform ambiguity reviews. • Develop project testing artifacts such test strategies, test plans and traceability matrix. • Create and execute reusable test cases and develop applicable test data to validate the entire application in various phases of development. • Collaborate with Business Users, BSAs and Development teams in addressing gaps in project documentation and testing strategies. • Develop, size and plan for multiple testing approaches to multi-phase delivery projects, mentor junior QA analysts and be able to lead defect review meetings and status reporting. • Manage multiple tasks and/or simultaneous deliverables – hitting deadlines without reduction in quality. • Expertise in Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing • Advanced SQL / Queries knowledge and knowledge of data modelling • Collaborate with Business Users, BSAs and Development teams in addressing gaps in project documentation and testing strategies • Manage multiple tasks and/or simultaneous deliverables – hitting deadlines without reduction in quality • Cross Functional skills - Functional & Automation, managing the creation and maintenance of an automation framework, certify automation scripts, provide recommendations, run already developed automation scripts, review automation reports. • Candidate will be required to work non-standard hours at times, co-ordinate with offshore team and will partner with all technology disciplines. • Follow QA Road Map, identify process gaps and provide process improvements *Key Responsibilities:* • Creation of an overall functional test/automation strategy, Project Estimates (SOWs, RFPs, Change Controls, etc.) • Creation and maintenance of the Project Test Plan, maintenance and management of the Project Schedule • Develop and execute manual test cases • Expertise in Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Regression Testing and User Acceptance Testing. • Managing the creation of reusable test suite and maintenance of reusable test cases in an automation framework • Develop basic automation scripts, review automation script and execute current automation suite. • Managing the client relationship and Test Status Reporting • Having excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills • Proactively manage towards improving defect prevention • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
