Required: 7+ years preferred* Responsibilities with focus on Front End App Development Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features Work with outside data sources and API's Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability Work on bug fixing and improving application performance Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency *Essential Skills* Solid and proven experience with Java stack. Senior level Java developers new to Android preferred over Android developers without a solid Java background. Screen layouts, HTTP requests, hardware interaction (Camera, Location Services, etc.) and localization Experience with the JSON and GSON a plus. Basic knowledge on interaction with a middleware layer Experience with third-party libraries and APIs Solid understanding of OO concepts and MVC a must have Experience with Soap UI, JUnit, and Python a plus Knowledgeable of GIT and code reviews Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team Ability to analyze a problem with little direction to determine multiple solutions Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies *Generic Skills* Should quickly pick up new technologies, programming languages. Work well autonomously and have a good intuition for what others expect of you. Love development, and be comfortable being consistently coding/designing/creating. Comfortable working in a fast paced Agile environment.
