The Technical Specialist has an overall knowledge and understanding of application development and architecture that serves as a strong base for technical expertise in a specific product or program. *Description of Duties* · Senior SAP Business Warehouse (BW) Consultant responsible for development and support of an existing SAP BW environment. Experience with public sector is preferred. · Provides support for enhancements to existing SAP BW Data Sources, DSOs, InfoCubes, MultiProviders, Info Objects, InfoSets & APDs. · Create/modify transformations; or convert existing update rules and/or transfer rules to transformations · Update/Create SAP BW queries and workbooks using the Query Designer and BEx Analyzer tools · Identify, troubleshoot & resolve issues in development/configuration/reporting · Provide accurate and detailed work effort and time estimates · Develop and document test strategies & results *Required Skills* 1. Technical expertise in SAP Business Warehouse (BW) 2. 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study 3. Written communication skills to adequately document work 4. Oral communication skills to train staff and inform management of all implemented assignments 5. Communicate accurate and useful status updates weekly 6. Technical ability to configure a software tool to produce desired output 7. Experience developing and reviewing management reports 8. Experience gathering business requirements and translating to technical specifications 9. Experience developing metrics and dashboard reporting 10. Installation of BW 11.
