Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) is in need of a .NET programmer analyst to assist the agency in maintaining their current legacy systems while modernizing to their Enterprise system. This .NET programmer analyst will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing multiple client server and web applications, using VB and VB.net. They will also be responsible for new work being developed using C# MVC. The programmer analyst must be able to build UI in .NET (Telerik tool UI experience is necessary), and must be experienced developing back-end PL/SQL stored procedures for the business layer. JQuery and JavaScript are languages/tools used by the agency on the browser side. Candidates MUST have excellent communication skills (both oral and written) to be considered for this position, and must display the ability to organize and present information effectively both orally and in writing as well. *Required Skills* 1. Analysis, design, programming, testing, implementing and supporting web based applications in Microsoft/Windows .NET platform 2. Experience working with .NET Framework 3.0 or greater 3. Experience developing .NET systems with Oracle back-end 4. Experience developing with JavaScript 5. Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to organize and present information 6. Experience using TFS for source control, Test Case Development and User Stories 7. JQuery 8. Experience using Telerik tools to build UI in .NET 9. Experience with classic VB development 10. .NET development using VB.net 11. .NET development using C# 12. MVC 13.
