*REPLY ME AT:dayle.wil...@itbtalent.com <dayle.wil...@itbtalent.com>* Title: Informatica Data Architect Location: Houston, TX/ can work remotely Duration: 6+ Months MUST HAVE Informatica PowerCenter 9.6.1 and Data Quality 9.6.1 This kind of person generally has to: .initially understand the company’s long-term needs for data collection/migration/warehousing/reporting (i.e. building data warehouses, just migrating data, the amounts of data that will be dealt with, etc.) for these products .liaise with the Dev Ops team to determine what OS’s they will sit on and what kind of computing power will be needed from the servers .determine what databases will be used as data sources and targets .design implementation plans for these products to meet the data collection/migration/warehousing/cleansing/reporting needs .design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and performance tune the initial ETL mappings (this is what Informatica Developers do on an ongoing basis) In-depth understanding and administering the Informatica platform (both ETL and Data Quality) using Administrator Console and client tools Ability to design and implement the entire new Informatica 9.6.1 HF3 ETL environment that incorporates operational audit metadata collection, object sharing, best practices for performance optimization, and process integration. Being able of setting up Informatica code migration standards and following Change Management practices Maintenance of PowerCenter ETL cycle Workflows, troubleshooting failures, and performing root cause analysis Being expert in IDQ functionality: data profiling, scorecards, data cleansing utilizing both Developer and Analyst tools High level of understanding of SQL and ability to perform complex data analysis and profiling using SQL code Ability to understand business requirements, data mappings, and data models for the purpose of constructing the appropriate data feeds Knowledge of how to write technical design documents and create system and dataflow diagrams to describe ETL systems Knowledge of various Data Warehousing concepts and integration methods Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently in an agile work environment with frequent adjustment to project requirements Working with your project team in different time zones to develop, manage, and execute against tight project plans Independently manage assigned project deliverables to ensure client’s business objectives are delivered with high quality and on schedule Effectively communicate status updates, project findings, and recommendations Opportunity to work remotely Regards Dayle Wilson - IT Technical Recruiter ITBrainiac Inc.
