Non-local okay, contract to hire. Need Accounting/Finance background. This position is heavy Production Support, the candidate will be working with the business side. It is a functional role – the candidate will be working in the Record-To-Report group. RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will work with key business users to support the Accounting and Finance processes within the company’s SAP instance. Primary activities include: • Facilitating efficient and effective Accounting and Finance business processes for users in the Production environment. Business areas include Accounting, Product Costing, Tax, General Ledger, Asset Management, Treasury, Consolidation, Planning & Budgeting, Sales Commissions, Inventory, and Regulatory/Compliance. • Monitoring ongoing business requirements to ensure that End User needs are addressed. The position will work with the user community to understand requested changes, provide guidance on timelines for implementation and to assist in the rollout of system changes. • Qualification, analysis and change control for the RTR Business Processes in the ERP system. • Working closely with other Work streams (OTC, PTM, LEX, PTP, BA, and MDM) to understand the interdependencies between Business Analytics and other Business Processes with the integrated ERP system landscape. Work with the Global IT team to ensure that the service levels for end user support are being met. • Assisting End Users to resolve routine problems, identifying root causes of quality problems and proposing sustainable solutions. • Reviewing and ensuring timely resolution of all Service Now Tickets assigned to the RTR CoE. • Supporting training for new and modified business processes as required. Work within the CoE to • Assist with development and maintenance of global/departmental policies and procedures. • Establish data quality metrics, standards, improvement opportunities to better support Accounting and Finance business needs. • Work with SAP deployment team to ensure evolving business requirements among Production users are kept consistent with the global SAP template. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent). Master’s Degree or MBA a strong plus. Experience: • Strong business acumen with 2 years plus of Record to Report experience and functional understanding of operations from corporate, regional and local perspective. • Demonstrated ability to train, teach or coach business professionals. • Proven problem solving skills. • Experience with root cause analysis techniques. • Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment; self-motivated to in an independent and collaborative mode. Skills: • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills; communicate effectively with diverse people at various organization levels with right level of detail and cultural sensitivity. • Flexible and open to new ideas with the ability to understand issues from corporate, regional and local perspective which maintaining customer focus. • Ability to decompose complex processes into sub-processes. • Ability to build strong relationships with peers and leaders by building trust and credibility; strong collaboration skills. • Active listening skills to understand business needs and steer business team to take decisions that have enterprise-wide impact. • Effective meeting management skills. • Effective management of individuals without reporting authority to achieve goals and meet deadlines. • Proficiency in non-English language (French or German) is a plus. • Savvy user of technology. • Savvy user of SAP.
