Position:Oracle Database Administrator Location: Detroit, MI Duration :6+ Months Requirements: *MUST HAVE ORACLE STREAMS BACKGROUND*Support upgrade of Oracle databases from version 10g to 11g, including implementing ASM. Additionally, migrate Oracle databases from AIX to Red Hat Linux platform. Work closely with application team to implement schema changes as required. Top 3 Required Skills/Experience – 1. Experience supporting the development of Oracle applications on distributed platforms (5 years) 2. Experience with Oracle Version 11g and 10g (3 years) 3. Experience with Oracle migration from AIX to Red Hat Linux platform (1 year) Required Skills/Experience- Significant experience in identifying and resolving SQL performance issues through tuning. At least five years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL coding.
