Position : PeopleSoft Financials Consultant Location: Austin, TX Duration: 3+ Months Job Description: Responsible for working with the Functional and Technical Teams, DBAs, Internal Reporting Team and business users on report requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing and implementation within PeopleSoft 9.2; Evaluating existing reports in 8.8 and creating or recreating those reports deemed business critical in PeopleSoft 9.2; Responsible for identification, documentation, and reporting of any reporting related project risks and issues to Project Manager and Project Team for resolution; Possesses Expertise in Structured Query Report (SQR), Crystal version 2008, nVision and PeopleSoft Query (PeopleTools 8.52), BI Publisher and testing; Strong abilities in report/query analysis, troubleshooting, re-design, conversion, indexing, and SQL query optimization and performance tuning; Practical application of the development life cycle, requirements, design, development, unit and integration testing, and acceptance testing; Strong skills and experience in PeopleSoft version 9.2 Financial public sector product suite; Must have strong communication skills to interact with staff, users and management; as well as having the ability to be a technical driving force within the development group. Must have strong organizational, planning and documentation skills. This position will need to possess an in-depth understanding of technical design and be capable of serving as a technical quality assurance programmer/consultant. Completes tasks in an efficient and timely manner while keeping project stakeholders informed; Provides various administrative services and reports necessary to maintain the project status, schedule and quality. The Developer Analyst must be available on-site as required to assure successful completion of the project Mandatory Requirements: 8 years of Experience as a PeopleSoft Reporting Writer for multiple large PeopleSoft projects. 8 years of Experience in designing, creating, and overseeing reporting for large complex high availability PeopleSoft Financial Systems. 8 years of Experience developing and migrating PeopleSoft reports during System Test, Integration Test, and User Acceptance Test. 8 years of Experience in SQR, Crystal, XML/BI Publisher, nVision and PS Query 8 years of Proven project team building skills 4 years of Experience writing and reviewing detailed test scripts for System, Integration, and User Acceptance Test Phases. Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization.
