MOI:: T + S Duration:: Long term Domain:: Hospitality industry No H1B’s The primary function of this position is for the development of sophisticated solutions for various initiatives and projects the IT applications department will undertake using Big Data technologies and related platforms. The IT Big Data Senior Developer will undertake technical leadership roles in ownership of applications, services framework or components assigned to them. The Big Data Developer will be expected to architect solutions in AWS based cloud deployments of big data platforms. This position will be expected to provide technical leadership and mentoring, working with a team of in-house and outsourced Big Data developers in design, development, deployment and systems integration activities. In addition, the Big Data Senior Developer is expected to do hands on coding and develop/implement design patterns and other best practices. *ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:* - Provide leadership for software application and module design and coding to software development teams developing complex software and services using Big Data platforms.
