The successful candidate will be able to code in a variety of languages (Cobol, Telon, Rational), analyze/troubleshoot applications plus DB2 problems, have knowledge of troubleshooting connectivity across multiple networks, and then recommend, implement, and support solutions for all products during and after the upgrades. This person will also interact with both business units and subject matter experts regarding every application affected and provide guidance, support and leadership regarding application interactions. This position will also know how to program interface engine connection threads to/from the mainframe using ESB or MQ Series or Cloverleaf systems. This person will also have thorough knowledge of HIPAA and HL7.
