*Job Description: *



*Responsibilities:*

1.            Develop of Embedded Linux/Embedded Android solutions for
automotive networking

2.            Develop and integrate interfaces for Connected Car
Technologies



*Requirements:*

1.            Minimum 5 years' experience in Embedded Domain

2.            Exceptional C programming skills

3.            Strong expertise in Linux system internals

4.            Deep experience in Hardware debugging, Porting and Board
bring up

5.            In-depth *knowledge of Network/Socket Device Drivers*

6.            Development on *GNU tools. Cross-tool chain* experience



*Preferred:*

1.            Strong knowledge of Android Framework. Experience with
embedded Android.

2.            Low level Ethernet protocol -- lower than the transport layer

3.            Excellent *knowledge of RTOS coding techniques*

4.            Development *experience in Shell Script or Python*

5.            Automotive Standards: *SPICE, AUTOSAR*

6.            Automotive Protocols: *DoIP, SOME/IP, CAN*



*Notes from the call last time: *

·         C*/C++  very advanced Expert level with C++ / C. *

·         Familiarity with ARM architecture, in particular *Texas
Intruments ARM chips OMAP series (omap2/3/4, etc).*

·         Worked with *Android Gingerbread (onwards), Ice Cream Sandwich,
Jellybean, Kitkat, and Lollipop.  Now moving* to *Marshmellow*.

·         Worked with Texas Instruments, *embedded Linux, Angstrom embedded
Linux, using Beagleboard kit for development. (4 years)*

·         Worked with *Pandaboard kit, with Linaro embedded linux (4 years
overlapping)*

·         Used Eclipse with Ubuntu Linux as host development system and *TI,
Angstrom, Linaro, and other ARM cross compilers tool chains (4 years
overlapping). *

·         Developed *I2C based based kernel device drivers (4 years
overlapping)*

·         Used *ADB and serial ports for debugging (4 years overlapping).*

·         Used *GPIO pins for interrupt detection (4 years overlapping)*

·         Built dynamically loadable drivers and drivers embedded within
the Android *Linux bootable image (4 years overlapping)*

·         Worked with *Android Framework SDK (2 years overlapping)*

·         Worked with *Android NDK (Native Development Kit) (2 years
overlapping)*

·         Hooked *Framework SDK app (Java)  via NDK (C++)  to the kernel
space (pure C) so user could communicate directly with the hardware device
via an android App (2 years)*
