The Program Manager leads the planning, design, development, and/or support
of the implementation of a complete business solution, applying new or
advanced technologies. Manages multiple projects, each of which would have
subprojects with Project Managers assigned, or a single large and complex
project. Has total accountability for project success, i.e., on time, within
budget, and meeting requirements. Responsibilities also include cost
management, potential for revenue growth and business development, as well
as the ability to manage a recovery project. Responsible for mentoring
project team members. Requires bachelors degree in project management,
business or other related degree; MBA degree or equivalent preferred and 10
plus years of extensive related experience in project management or multiple
IT roles. PMI-Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification preferred. ;

 *Additional Job Description:*

Healthcare Industry The Project Manager plans, schedules, monitors,
evaluates and directs projects to ensure a complete business solution is
implemented. The Project Manager may act alone or is expected to lead a team
or a definable segment of a larger project. The Project Manager produces a
project plan based on the Global PM Project Management methodology for
executing the project. The Project Manager manages NCR and third party
contracts as needed; ensuring projects meet established time, cost and
technical objectives. The Project Manager develops and manages the project’s
change control procedures and effectively utilizes all available
methodologies and tools, culminating in client acceptance of results. The
Project Manager conducts project progress reviews with client and account
team personnel, providing contingency and problem resolution plans as
required. The Project Manager is assigned to a project during the concept
phase and will remain on a project through the end of the closeout. The
Project Manager manages a maximum of one active project. The complexity of
any project will require involvement of at least five days per week. The
Project Manager may be supported by a Project Coordinator. Education and
Experience Requirements • Years Experience 5-10 years in Information
Technology (or equivalent) • Previous Work Experience NCR, CIO; MIS
Director; Consulting experience: Vendor or Consulting firm (Big 5) •
Preferred Professional Certification PMI - Project Manager Professional
(PMP) Certification, NCR Internal Project Management Certification Key Areas

Manages all aspects of post-sale implementation of project (on-time, within
budget, within expectations) • Develops Project Binder, which includes
Customer Contract, PM Letter of Assignment and Project Charter, Project
Qualification Report, and Project Plan • Monitors and controls project •
Manages the work of NCR resources, subcontractor personnel, and clients •
Manages cost/schedule/resource variances • Performs project status reviews •
Maintains/expands client relationship • Ensures client expectations are
met/exceeded • Establishes client follow-up/monitor process • Conducts final
