*Title: Mainframe Architect* *Location: Raleigh, NC.* *Duration: 12 Months * *Interview: Telephonic +Skype* *Technical Requirements:* *Responsibilities:* The primary responsibility of this position is to design and test 120 external (state and federal) interfaces to and from SCUBI (Southeast Consortium Unemployment Benefit Integration) program. *Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* Knowledge of North Carolina Unemployment Benefit Payment applications and/or other State Agency Unemployment Benefit Payment applications. *Required Skills:* • Technical knowledge and experience with mainframe technical architect, design and solutioning using the following software: COBOL 10years, CICS 10 yrs, VSAM 10yrs, and JCL 10yrs. • Knowledge and experience in transferring data sets from mainframe applications to Oracle / SQL based programs. 10 yrs. • Successful completion of technology projects within area of responsibility, analyzing feasibility, compatability and cost of solutions • Excellent interpersonal communication skills. *Desired skills:* • Strong organizational skills. • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. • Ability to engage business and technical experts for the purpose of implementing the various interfaces to the SCUBI Benefit Payment Application. *Qualifications:* Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Technical knowledge and experience with COBOL Required 10 Years Technical knowledge and experience with CICS Required 10 Years Technical knowledge and experience with VSAM Required 10 Years Technical knowledge and experience with JCL Required 10 Years Knowledge and experience in transferring data sets from mainframe applications to Oracle / SQL based programs.
