Please try to keep the candidates local to Ohio. * *Experience Requirements:* · 8-10 years' overall experience in IT · 5-7 years in data warehouse design / maintenance. · 3--5 years' experience in each position skill listed below: · Meeting business users and analyze the requirements for the dimensional purpose. · Star-Schema Modeling, Snowflake Schema Modeling, Fact and Dimension tables. Modelling experience in an Oracle database environment is preferred. · Must have experience in designing dimensional data models/facts from scratch. Highly recommended but not required skills. 1-2 years' experience in each position skill listed below: · Building CUBE using Microsoft Analysis Service. · Building reports using Microsoft SSRS Recommended but not required skills. 1-2 years' experience in each position skill listed below: · Microsoft SSIS/Informatica for ETL · PL/SQL and/or T-SQL · MDX Queries The selected resource will be fully integrated into a team of developers and will work directly with stakeholders representing program offices across the agency Resource will be working on: EAS (Enterprise Application Service) is a .NET system that supports multiple business processes in ODE. The current system doesn’t have any dashboard and reporting capabilities. This project will address those shortcomings. First phase of the project will create an OLAP (Data warehouse for the systems) database. This is where we expect the contractor to spend most of the time. In the second phase, after the OLAP is designed, Microsoft Analysis Cubes will be built using the OLAP data. In the last phase, the dashboard will source the data from the Microsoft Analysis Cubes and display the data using a 3rd party charting controls. The SSRS reports will source the data from same or similar MS Cubes. The reports will be available only for internal business users whereas the dashboard will be available to both internal and external audiences.
