*UX UI Developer*
*Melville Long Island, NY* *Phone Interview , then onsite interview* *They need the same UI/Front End skills, prototyping, user stories etc. but they want this person part-time initially. They’re looking at something like 60-70 hrs over the course of 3-4 weeks initially. This person would be 90-95% remote but would need to be able to come on-site once or twice for brainstorming sessions.* *4 weeks+ after the initial assignment they might keep this resource on a part time basis to work on projects weekends or off hours. So if you have your candidate at another assignment they can in addition to work for my client at the same time* *Request for Freelance UX/UI Resource to Complete New Scitation Walk-through* *Overview* In order to verify the integrity and usability of the new publishing platform we need to construct a low-fidelity site walkthrough to share with key stakeholders and test with users. These materials are required for Late August early September. To accomplish this we will require the services of a freelance UX/UI expert to construct said walk-throughs under the supervision of the New Publishing Platform core working group. *Scope of Work* Build and create a New Scitation walk-through in three stages. The final stage will be shared with prospective users of the New Scitation in order to test the current site design and to gather feedback for improvements and enhancements to the experience that can be implemented post launch. *Phase 1 (two weeks):* Demonstrate site page flow Audience: New Publishing Platform Steering Committee & Project Team Objective: - Using the current approved page proofs, construct a rudimentary experience that demonstrates key, high-level linkages within and between pages. - This should be facilitated by creating hotspots on the flat image files. - Create a basic script for the walkthrough Goal: - A First look at the seams of the site revealing how well the pages bind together. - Verify the overall design consistency - Yields a high-level understanding of the site for the AIPP project stakeholders and participants, builds energy via tangible progress - Basic script and test planning, no real discussion guide needed *Phase 2 (two weeks):* Audience: New Publishing Platform Steering Committee, Executive Leadership Team, AIP Publishing’s Board of Managers, and Member Societies Objective: - Enable key segments of the site (e.g. top nav, mid navs, key links) - Layer files to permit hovers, dropdowns and other navigational cues - A mid-level script and test plan as well as basic discussion guides for key audiences (e.g. Member Societies) Goal: - Demonstrate and evaluate major navigation elements of the site - Provides the first look at the primary navigation as a transport system through all pages & content - Mid-level script and test planning, basic discussion guide for Member Societies *Phase 3 (ongoing, as feasible/required till launch):* Audience: External customers (e.g. researchers, authors, librarians, etc.) Objective: Usability testing and proving the site versus the Design Brief - Schedule demonstration and testing sessions with key stakeholders and users - Sophisticated script, test planning, and discussion guide Goal: Usability testing and proving the site versus the Design Brief - Usability testing and feedback that will guide the post implementation development of the site. -- *--Thanks & Regards,Vikas Kumar SinghPh: 408-256-7820Email: vi...@svsintegration.com <vi...@svsintegration.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
