The main tools used will be Visual Studio 2015 (connected to TFS) and SQL Server 2012. The NC Office of the Commissioner of Banks (NCCOB) is responsible for the chartering and regulation of North Carolina's state banks, trust companies, mortgage companies, as well as registration and licensing of various financial institutions operating in North Carolina. NCCOB developed a custom line of business web site used by all departments within the agency and used by the entities that NCCOB regulates. The IT Developer will perform business analysis, database development, and web development and will be included in all aspects of software development cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, release, and maintenance. Specific duties of the IT Developer will include: 1. Adding small enhancements 2. Running database queries on an ad-hoc basis 3. Helping with large longer term enhancements 4. Testing code changes made by other developers 5. Gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical needs 6. Creating and maintaining software documentation The IT Developer will work on a small team with a couple senior developers.
