*Job Title: IoT Project Manager (Internet of Things)* *Location: Charlotte, NC* *Contract to hire: 6 months* *Work Status: GC or Citizen * *Interview process:* · First interview: Phone screen · Second interview: Onsite · Third and final interview: Onsite *Position Description * The Internet of Things (IoT) Project Manager will have responsibilities for leading and managing data analytics and Internet of Things (IoT) development projects to successful conclusion with regards to timing, quality, budget, security and standards. This individual will work closely with key stakeholders to effectively define scope and drive project activities leveraging Agile project management methodologies; will interface with R&D, Product Owners from different lines of business, and offshore vendor development teams. The projects will involve customer facing applications generating data on usage and costs associated with manufacturing machines and products, ranging in size and output. That data will be translated into predictive algorithms for adoption, maintenance, efficiency and ROI. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Agile/project management experience managing IoT/analytics projects throughout the entire lifecycle. *Responsibilities: * • Create and execute Product Roadmaps, Release Plans and project work plans to meet changing needs, requirements and capacity • Develop actionable project schedules – clearly identifying key milestones, deliverables, outcomes; dependencies; effort/durations; resources • Assist in the development of business cases, epics, features, stories or other requirement documents • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, track and remove impediments, be accountable for team adherence to Agile Process • Communicate project status, team velocity, and release progress to project team and management • Coordinate with key stakeholders and PMO to ensure project and security risks are documented and effectively managed on a timely basis to reduce impact and probability • Provide thought leadership and guidance to identify and promote new techniques for improving agility *Required Skills: * • 3+ years prior experience in leading cross-functional projects following Agile delivery methods • *Experience as a Scrum Master effectively leading and coaching teams in Agile * • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts • Experience in managing Agile driven programs using Jira/Portfolio highly desirable • Excellent communication skills to work and influence leadership and other key stakeholders • Identifying and resolving issues quickly and effectively with ability to make timely decisions • Preparing and presenting concise, accurate and complex written and verbal documents *The ideal candidate will also have:* • 8+ years total experience in project management or IT • Blended experience with traditional PM and Agile PM methodologies - stronger emphasis on Agile • Has helped lead an Agile organizational transformation before • Manufacturing industry experience; strong preference • Offshore vendor management experience is a major plus • Strong experience working with Agile driven project management apps such as Jira or Confluence • Experience or knowledge in hardware or networking is advantageous • Must be willing to be work in open concept office environment • Must be flexible/collaborative/adaptive • Must be an onsite candidate • Little travel required, if any (10% domestic and international) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
