Position : SQL Server Developer Location : NJ Duration : FullTime *Only Tri State Consultants Needed NJ/NY/CT* Need only US Citizen,GREEN CARD.or an EAD only please *Financial experience is a must* Sr. Database Programmer Responsibilities: Responsible for developing and maintaining the COO Tools Suite (CIO Dashboard and Cost Allocation) Responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle as well as, participate in application component analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation. Ability to multitask and effectively deal with shifting priorities. Assess existing bodies of work or perform detailed analysis of business flow, designing a system and making suggestions for the improvement of existing systems, seeing things to completion. Focus on supporting our existing application while being involved in the development of new enhancements. Requirements will be funneled to the lead developer from the technical architect and the business analyst. The developer will then code to the required specifications to create a release that is scheduled on a rolling release cycle of approximately 8 weeks. This position will afford the right person the opportunity to mentor and lead more junior team members. Additionally, the developer will be required to provide level 3 support when required. As with all projects at the firm, documentation is required to be produced for the development team and support resources by all development resources. Requirements: Working knowledge of architectural frameworks, data warehouses methodologies and tools Good analytical skills and creative thinking skills, quick learner Experience working with Financials as it relates to Budgeting and Forecasting MS SQL Server 2005/2008 Business Objects XI Expertise in multidimensional databases with demonstrated ability to create calculated members and MDX scripting. SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2005/2008 ETL Processing Good analytical and creative thinking skills, quick learner C# and any other Object-oriented Language a plus Application / Team: The Enterprise Management Application Team is comprised of individuals with varying skills and to develop and support applications and tools that focus on saving the firm both time and money. Working together in a collaborative environment, the Enterprise Management Application team is able to provide applications, tools and services to the whole Barclays organization.
