*Manager would like only top 3 candidates submitted* *Duration* – 6 months contract (most likely 6 months he said), then option to convert to perm *Role Type - Contract to potential perm* *Interview Process* – phone screen and if his tech lead likes them enough they would bring in for an in person *Project* - They would be supporting a year long project that would involve web services, messaging technologies (Rabbit MQ), Spring Framework, core Java. Basically back-end Java work *Notes: *Would like someone with 3-5 years experience, does not want senior. This is a pure backend Java contract hire position. Key for this role is back end Java with experience working with data and databases *Job Description:* · 3 – 5 years of software development experience (*does not want a senior person*) · Passion for technology and solving difficult problems · Proficiency in Java and at least one other programming language · Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) · Competency in unit testing and test-driven development (a plus) · Experience with Java build tools (Maven, Ant, Ivy) · Experience developing Java backend applications and services · In-depth knowledge of web technologies and protocols · Experience with version control systems (*Subversion*, Git, Mercurial, etc.) · Experience on Linux/UNIX environments · Ability to work well with others · Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to tailor communications to both technical and non-technical audiences Regards: Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager ITBrainiac Inc.
