*NO H1B OR OPT'S* *Description:*The position of JBoss Administrator is responsible to support all applications using a JBoss environment. He/she is responsible to build, maintain, support, monitor, and troubleshoot Apache and JBoss servers being used by agency applications, as well as to perform deployments in pseudo, training and production environments for the ASSETS/DCSE Website and potentially other projects. ASSETS are part of a mission-critical System that collects and distributes $1.7 billion in child support annually for 900,000 families. The candidate for this position will provide critical JBoss administrator support for the deployment, troubleshooting, server patching and capacity planning of JBoss applications. Build and maintain JBoss application server setup. Build and maintain Apache Web Server setup. Configure the apache instances for supporting Siteminder and I3 agents. Support the application groups in: Deploying application releases to integration, test, pseudo, training and production environments Troubleshooting issues in both Production and non-production environments Coordinating with various ITS Server infrastructure groups to fulfill applications non-functional requirements Submit service requests for configuring firewalls, adding new virtual IPs and load balancing settings to fulfil those non-functional requirements. Participating in the applications load test process and analyze any identified server side issue Coordinate with the Federal Child Support IT team members for support. Create and maintain support documentation to show inter connectivity between Web Server, Application Server and other outside components.
