Role: Core Java Developer with Finance Domain exp Location: Stamford, CT Duration: 1 year contract (April 2010 to April 2011) Rate: $300/day on C2C *Job Role:* -The Client is looking for Core Java resources to support the development of new P&L and risk functionalities. The resource needs to support Java-based server-side development as well as GUI development using MS .NET technologies- C#, Winform, etc** -Required for developing new risk and P&L functionalities for cash equities. *Required Skills: * -Core Java technology specialist with 6+ years of experience with at least 3 years working in financial services firms -Proficiency in application development and knowledge of core Java technologies, including *JDBC, Java 5 *Java collections and data structures *Performance tuning Java-based applications, multithreading *Message processing/streaming -Experience in GUI development using MS .Net technologies (C#, Winform) -Exposure to cash equities business, especially the middle office process such as risk management, position management, and P&L computations In-depth expertise in the core Java platform, good understanding of software delivery processes, and knowledge of financial markets required. *Desired Skills:* -End-to-end experience in software development lifecycle and familiarity with agile methodologies -Experience in writing Shell/Perl scripts and setting up batches for generating feed files. -Configuration management and release management experience -Exposure to front office business processes and good understanding of F2B flow of equities trades (for instance – integrating with various market data sources and pricing databases, basic understanding of the concepts of valuation and risk -management, arrangement and execution of EOD batch processes etc.) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
