Duration: 9 months Rate: $55/Hr *After phone screen In-person Interview is must. * *Position Description:* Java web development position working in a Struts2 / Spring framework, enhancing and maintaining a high-volume web applications. This position requires a highly motivated developer able to work with a team of developers in an agile project environment. * * *Primary responsibilities include * a) coding (Java, Freemarker templates, general html and Java Script) for a dynamic web application using a SQL database; b) design and architecture of components and subsystems; c) technical documentation; d) survey and evaluation of new web development trends and techniques; e) Assisting clients with operational support for our core products, troubleshooting problems and proposing improvements. *Qualifications* - Very high motivation, eagerness, curiosity and desire to develop cutting edge web applications - 8+ years overall software development industry experience - 8+ years Java development experience; Expertise with Struts2, Spring and AspectJ are a major plus. - Prior experience with FreeMarker Template language and general html skills - Experience with SQL - Experience with Ajax , Oracle coherence, Lucene search a plus - Development with Eclipse in both Windows and/or Linux server environments. - Excellent teamwork and communication skills, familiarity with agile development methodologies - Education: Desired: 4 year degree in CS, engineering or science.
