*MUST BE LOCAL TO GA* Qualifications: Experienced leadership in developing Test Strategy and implementing the test strategy for an infrastructure project focusing on building a data center. Experience in implementing industry standard QA and testing practices. Strong technical understanding of infrastructure (HW/SW). A minimum of 10 years IT experience Responsibilities: Lead Quality Assurance/Testing efforts efforts for an Infrastructure project on building a Data Center. Prepares and implements the QA strategy for the program/project Identifies QA resources needed for the program/project Provides QA work estimates and QA-specific resource requirements Provides guidance and best practices for testing Provides testing resources with training and mentoring on the testing processes, test standards, and the testing tools (Quality Center, Business Process Test, QuickTest Professional, eggPlant, Service Test, Performance Center, WebInspect, etc.) Collaborates with experienced Performance Test Engineers for performance testing consulting and support Ensures that adequate lead time (6 weeks prior to performance test execution) is given to the Performance Test Engineer for performance testing Collaborates with experienced Automated Testing Engineers for test automation consulting, scripting, and support Collaborates with experienced Security Test Engineers for software security testing consulting and support Sets up projects in Quality Center and ensures that the standard workflows are implemented in the project Analyzes test data requirements and collaborates with Test Data Support team to create test data when needed Reviews requirements for testability, ambiguity, or redundancy Ensures traceability matrices are available Communicates the progress and status of testing Identifies testing risks and provides a risk mitigation plan to minimize, if not totally eliminate, the risks Determines a risk-based test strategy and seeks approval of its implementation Coordinates the testing efforts for projects that involve multiple applications or portfolios Coordinates and facilitates the defect triage meetings Provides the testing metrics Escalates QA issues to the project/program manager Acts as the Quality Center project administrator Ensures a smooth transition from project to BAU is conducted Some Main types of tests include: • Network connectivity tests o Basic testing for WAN and trace routing to validate that RCC is not the key hub to sites o Basic testing to/from a select set of airports o Testing between key LAN infrastructure (key system testing, key firewall testing, key security testing) • Systems Testing o System validation (each system has right software, version and stack, validated) o Access is possible between key systems to use technologies o System dependencies are all in place o Platforms all report into monitoring toolsets o Platforms all alarm • Backup/recovery tested • IDS and IPS tested • Operational readiness testing for infrastructure (alarms tested and response tested in operations) Regards, Adam Smith- IT Technical Recruiter Direct : 201-855-0253 adam.sm...@itbtalent.com Fax : 312.582.2699 116 Village Blvd, Suite 200 - Princeton, NJ 08540 ITBrainiac.Inc -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
