Description (including, but not limited to): Managing business analysis work or projects with distinct deliverable s to a solution Identifying and documenting business processes, issues, value levers, metrics, and capabilities Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data Completing analysis and documentation of as-is capabilities Conducting interviews to gather business requirements Conducting industry, competitive and State analyses (strategic, financial, operational), business case development, as well as market research for benchmarking Supporting required system go-live activities, including conversion, support desk, site support, training delivery, logistics management, etc. Supporting change management and communications programs and activities Performing Data Integration, Quality Assurance and product testing duties, defect reporting, and related project administration tasks. Project-Specific Duties: Gather, write requirements for HomeBase Portal Working under the direction of the HomeBase Director, this position shall be responsible for performing support duties, which shall include but not be limited to the following deliverables and duties: Manage business analysis work or projects with distinct deliverables to a solution; Identify and document business processes, issues, value levers, metrics, and capabilities; Collect organize, and analyze data; Complete analysis and documentation of Web Portal capabilities; Conduct interviews to gather business requirements; Conduct industry, competitive and State analyses (strategic, financial, operational), business case development, as well as market research for benchmarking; Support required system GoLive activities, including conversion, support desk, site support, training delivery, logistics management, etc.; Support change management and communications programs and activities; Perform Data Integration, Quality Assurance and product testing duties, defect reporting, and related project administration tasks. Project Specific Duties: Functional Integration, Analysis and Support (40%) Act as a liaison between The HomeBase Team and DPI Technology Services, to gather, clarify, and document business requirements, and to coordinate and document all discussions related to the requirements management process; Conduct the necessary analyses to determine and document the required interfaces between all HomeBase systems. Also, work with the appropriate stakeholders and technology staff to determine the appropriate sources of data and frequency of source system interfaces; Produce a detailed scope, requirements definition, and functional specification for the selected architecture and optimized data flows needed for the HomeBase Portal Lead troubleshooting and internal support activities related to the HomeBase Portal o Serve as formal troubleshooting escalation point for NCDPI (tier 2 support); and o Coordinate issue and risk management activities with the current and future vendors. Other duties as assigned. Data Integration (20%) Coordinate the activities between the HomeBase team, and DPI Technology resources, to define, test, and implement the required data feeds from the relevant DPI system to the HomeBase Portal. Coordinate delivery of test files, test results, and user acceptance with the Homebase team and DPI for the data interfaces. Lead the discussions related to the longer term integration strategy of the HomeBase Portal with other DPI applications; devise a system architecture that supports efficient integration with other applications and also presents a logical, user-friendly interface to other DPI users. Update any relevant system data flow or system architecture documentation throughout the project; Initiate integration analysis and design to support HomeBase Portal project integrations with other applications Consult with the DPI system architect resource, and document alternatives to optimize all data flows from the HomeBase Portal Act as liaison with the HomeBase team to escalate and monitor issues and risks associated; Other duties as assigned. Quality Assurance (40%) Produce a Quality Assurance Plan, produce test cases, and manage the user acceptance testing for all HomeBase Portal integration phases; Other duties as assigned. Functional Integration Analysis & Support - Liaison to gather, clarify and document business requirements and coordinate and document discussions.
