*Position: SharePoint Developer Client: State of Indiana Contract: 1 year + Rate: $45/hr Interview: ONSITE REQUIRED* *Job Description:* The SharePoint Developer is responsible for the design, development, support, and administration of SharePoint applications and websites for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Responsibilities include analyzing business processes and recommending solutions that can reduce process time and increase efficiency. *Duties:* *Define, document, and enforce SharePoint standards, policies, procedures, and metrics that reflect best practices and Bureau of Motor Vehicles business objectives. *Define and promote a technical and business strategy for SharePoint use. *Consult with business areas, analyze customer requests to determine needs, and recommend, design and implement solutions based on detailed requirements using SharePoint standard functionalities and needed customizations. *Schedule projects according to agency priorities. *Develop and execute in-depth test plans, including end-user testing. *Support end users; troubleshoot and resolve reported issues. *Perform end-user training such that most business areas are able to administer by themselves (grant user permissions and manage content). *Research and recommend technologies and tools to increase cost effectiveness, integrations, usability, and future expandability of SharePoint services.
