Duties:
*Application developing, coding, debugging, testing, fixing and
documentation
*Provide regular status reports of work performed to the Project Technical
Lead or Project Manager
*Uses Microsoft SourceSafe for code configuration management
*Write code using MS C# and ASP.net
*May write code in JavaScript
*Write LINQ and SQL statements
*Will provide knowledge transfer to TxDMV staff
*Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Skills/Experience
*6 Experience in systems analysis, design, development and implementation of
application software.
*6 Experience in Object-Oriented Design and Development
*6 Experience using MS SQL Sever database
*6 Experience developing SQL statements
*3 Experience developing web-based business applications with
ASP.NET<http://asp.net/>and C# using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2005
(or later)
*3 Experience using source control systems (such as SourceSafe)
Preferences:
Skills/Experience
3 Experience using XML
2 Experience integrating systems using disparate levels of technology
(legacy to modern)
2 Experience using CSS in an ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> environment
1 Experience creating automated unit tests with NUnit or similar product
1 Experience using Microsoft Visio
Thorough knowledge of IT/IS software development methodologies and
standards xpert skill in communicating technical information effectively
Proficient skill in:
Setting goals and objectives that support overall project goals,
anticipating and adjusting for problems and roadblocks
Analyzing and organizing technical data
Prioritizing and organizing work assignments
Working with limited supervision
Working with diverse teams
One or more of the following Microsoft Certifications:
Microsoft Certified Application Developer
Microsoft Certified Solution Developer
Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist : .Net Framework 2.0 Web
Applications
Microsoft Certified Professional Developer : Web Developer
