Job Title: Oracle Business Analyst Location: Miami, FL
Duration: 12 months The candidate for this position should have a minimal of* 8 years expertise as a Business Analysts* with *5 years in Oracle Financials* with a strong background in Derivatives. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of energy trading and risk management software (ETRMS) systems along with a strong background in accounting. The candidate would have strong analytical skills and be able to communicate to senior management the functional and system design that was being applied to areas that where identified as gaps in the current system. This person should be able to conduct gap analysis and write / maintain functional specifications for new or modified business processes. Consult and assist the technical team during design, development and testing of automated solutions. Create and assist others in the writing of user documentation, instructions, test scripts and procedures. The candidate should be able to understand the* ERTM software*and see how best to interface the data from the ETRM into the *Oracle E-Business suite*, with a emphasis on Derivatives accounting interfacing to the *General Ledger and also into exposure calculations.* At least 8 years working as an* business Analyst At least 5 years working with Oracle Applications* Strong background in* ETRM functionality* (Allegro preferred). Experience with best practices *for Accounting processes with emphasis on Derivative* accounting. Experience in documenting complex business requirements, business processes and test scenarios Strong *SDLC experience* required. Exposure *Oracle AIM Methodology* preferred.
