As a software engineer you will be enhancing core products and developing cutting edge services in the payment industry. We are experiencing phenomenal revenue growth and need talented engineers to drive our vision to be the world standard for payment processing. A successful candidate will have a passion for good design and a love for developing robust code. *Responsibilities include:* Implement new features using C++, and SQL in an Apache/Linux environment. Write high quality code and unit tests. Adhere to release/project schedules and milestones. Create high-level and detailed technical design documents, and conduct design reviews. Provide technical guidance and assistance to other software engineers. Maintain and enhance existing product capabilities. Develop and update product documentation. Play an active role in implementing and providing feedback on new processes. *Job Requirements:* The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of relevant web protocols. Commitment to highly available and platform independent software is required. BS Degree in Computer Science is required, and Masters preferred, with 3 to 10+ yrs of software development experience. Expert level C++ skills are required with a demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems. (JAVA is a plus, not required). Strong understanding and command of OOA & OOP practices, UML is a plus.
