Title :- SHAREPOINT CONSULTANT - SENIOR Location:- Washington, DC Duration :- 3-6 Months SharePoint Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, supporting, and maintaining internal SharePoint sites with a variety of customizations. Create documentation for usage of custom applications to meet department requirements. Understand principles in developing maintainable code as well as assessing time needed to accomplish different programming tasks. Must have the ability to communicate effectively in a team environment. Essential Job Functions: Code, test, and troubleshoot SharePoint customizations Apply good web design to develop custom master pages and CSS Consult with department leaders and identify the best ways to use SharePoint based on given requirements Support and maintain custom applications as well as future applications Assess required amount of time needed to accomplish different programming tasks Must have experience using source control (CVS, SVN, etc.) Minimum Qualifications: Experience: 3+ years experience in programming SharePoint applications or Features, 3+ years experience in SharePoint administration, 6+ years experience in ASP.NET software development Knowledge: ASP.NET, C#, SharePoint Development Libraries, SharePoint Administration and Integration of third-party Features, XML/DTD/XSL, C/ C++ or Java is a plus, Windows and Linux experience preferable, Perl and Shell scripting experience is a plus Skills/Ability: Must be able to think on their feet and have strong problem solving skills. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and have a great attitude. Must have the ability to communicate effectively in a team environment. Education/Certification: Bachelors Degree required (Computer Science or Engineering preferred) Eligibility Requirement: Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible Work Environment: Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, heal straps, and shop coats. To maintain a safe and drug-free workplace, our client requires that candidates complete a satisfactory background check and pass a drug screen prior to employment. FAA sensitive positions require employees to participate in a random drug test pool.
