Title: Java Developer Location: Chicago, IL DESCRIPTION: Will perform software development and unit testing tasks in support of the sustainment of a large web-based application. Work with a team of software professionals to correct defects and develop new functionality. Follow detailed lifecycleprocesses, utilizing best practices for configuration control and development practices. Maintain and extend JAVA J2EE based applications which utilize an MVC framework, an Oracle database, and a Resin application server. Required: 9 years of hands on experience Bachelor's degree required with 5 years of hands on experience and additional 4years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Masters degree with 3 years of experience Knowledge of software lifecycle processes (CMMI ). 5 yrs + JAVA/J2EE programming. 2 years with Spring and Hibernate or Tapestryexpeience. 2 years Oracle 2 years Unix Experience in the following areas is a plus: Progress 4GL.
