This is a highly responsible role for a SharePoint support and administration specialist who can share responsibilities for maintaining, supporting, and implementing Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS) 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) 3.0. Title:-Sharepoint System Administrator Location:- Walnut Creek, CA Job requirements:- • A working support-analyst’s knowledge of Microsoft’s current Office SharePoint Server 2007 platform, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and supporting technologies including: o SQL Server 2000/2005 o Internet Information Server 6.0 o Active Directory o Microsoft Office desktop application integration with SharePoint o Windows Workflow Foundation o Server farm design concepts o Windows networking principles • The ability to produce appropriate documentation for all assignments Duties:- This individual will be responsible for contributing to a variety tasks including: • day-to-day end-user application support • assigned farm and server administration tasks (software installation, upgrades and configuration; managing server- to- server content moves; server administration; backup/restore; site collection deployments, etc) • authoring, contributing to, and publishing support-related documentation to internal SharePoint knowledge base. • Other ad-hoc tasks including basic SharePoint administration and project coordination Experience Level:- 5+ Years in IT support, call center, IT software and hardware administration. Skill Set:- • Previous experience in a technical support role • Excellent functional knowledge of SharePoint • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office 2003 and 2007 • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ideally some PMO and Project Management (Prince2 or PIMBOK) knowledge Extras:- Proficiency in ASP.Net, C#, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, WCF, WWF, SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2008, current HTML standards and all the HTML version standards as adopted by the W3C, JavaScript, DHTML, CAML, and XML. Familiarity with all types of online security schemes, and also with COM objects and similar techniques and ability to optimize all formats for online viewing. Familiarity or experience with 3rd Party solutions that integrate with SharePoint is a distinct advantage: ShareVis, SharePoint/Lotus Notes integration, Enterprise Search, and Business Intelligence is a plus.
