Title: A- Senior-BI Developer JobDiva #: 10-16707 # of Openings: 1 Position Type: 6 months Contract Location: Hartford, CT Rate : $45/hr Senior Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) Developer role on our Claims Operational Reporting Team located in Hartford , CT. This person would be responsible for overseeing the development of Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Packages, working with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and developing reports in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Following is a job description of the position. Senior Microsoft BI Developer (1) - 3+ years experience in BI Development with expertise in using Microsoft BI Technology (SQL Server 2005/2008, T-SQL, SQL Server Management, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS) - 7+ years of overall system development experience in BI, Operational Reporting and/or Data Warehouse Solutions - Strong development skills in SSRS using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008 specifically Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) and/or Microsoft Report Builder. - Strong experience in MDX (Multidimensional Expressions language used in SSAS). - Experience with working with cubes (Dimensions and Facts) and SSAS is required. - Design and Architecture experience in SSIS is required. - P&C Insurance business specifically claims processing is a plus. - Possess good interpersonal skills and be team-oriented. - Ability to fit in with the team and work in a fast pace environment with tight deadlines is essential.
