Duration : 6 months Location : Herndon, VA Job Description & Required skills: Candidates MUST have 5-7 yrs experience in Java/J2EE and Swing Development. The ideal candidate should have extensive front end swing experience with custom components development. Should have experience with Weblogic application server. Candidate is expected to have oracle background with sql, pl-sql stored procedures expertise. This position demands that the individual have excellent interpersonal skills and develop solid working relationships with team members. Must-Have Skills: § Strong Expertise in Java Swing. § Expertise in J2EE technologies like JDK1.5, EJB, JSP, Servlets. § Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL Stored Procedures with Oracle. § Experience working in UNIX and Windows environment. § Expertise in development and deployment with WebLogic § Expertise developing Ant scripts and using CVS. § Excellent team work and communication skills. § Experience in Autosys Scheduling. § Experience in UNIX OS and shell scripts (c and k shell) § Experience in ETL processing (Ab Initio tool experience a plus). § Experience in developing unit test suite using JUnit. § Expertise in application development, demonstrated experience in working through all phases of development lifecycle. § Able to provide fast turnaround for each deliverable in order to meet key project deadlines. Nice to Have Skills: § Log4J, Clover, Cruise Control. § Knowledge of Business Objects. § Knowledge of Abinitio. § Knowledge of Rational Rose modeling tools. § Good understanding of Fannie Mae Business Process. Developer III Specialized performs high complexity (i.e. system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents. The candidate also resolves defects encountered during various testing cycles.
