Job Tittle : Teradata consultant Location : Jacksonville, FL Duration : 6 Months Description: I am looking for an immediate resource to provide production support and troubleshooting of customer's ETL jobs. Most jobs are written with Teradata BTEQ, and many are controlled from the IBM mainframe so knowledge of mainframe is a definite benefit. Production support includes management of the batch schedule, monitoring of transformation and loading jobs, restarts, and job repairs where required. Code fixes are also part of this which may including reviewing source data to identify any data integrity errors or ETL transformation or logic errors. Strong knowledge of Teradata including the various load utilities such as FastLoad, Multiload, etc is critical.
