Position: SOFTWARE ENGINEER (C++ and Unix/Linux)

 Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin

 Duration: 6-12months



The company is a leading manufacturer medical imaging devices (CT Scanners
and MRIs).  They are in need of a Software Engineer with the following
experience for an estimated.

*Candidate must be from a medical device, telecommunication device, or any
type of electro-mechanical device manufacturing company*


*Duties include (but are not limited to):*

·         Work closely with cross-functional teams (Systems, Applications,
and Software team) in requirements gathering and software design and
development of new application features and platforms.

·         Define Application Architecture, resolve high-level design and
functional issues.

·         complying with Design Controls and Change control processes and
the company’s Quality System.

·         Assist in supporting various Test, Design, and Manufacturing
Engineering activities.


*Qualifications:*

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent or related
computer field.

·         *5+ years of programming and Software Design experience developing
C++* based platforms and applications.

·         Working knowledge in configuration management tools such as Clear
Case.

·         Good knowledge of *UNIX Inter Process Communications (IPC).*

·         Preferably prior experience with basics of LINUX operating system
and software development using LINUX platform.

·         preferably prior experience in Optimization techniques and Image
Processing and related areas of work.
