Candidate must have all the skills required for this position. Title: SharePoint Administrator Duration: 12 months Location: Walnut Creek, CA Position Description: Responsible for activities involved in the analysis, design, development, troubleshooting, debugging and maintenance of Departmental SharePoint Systems. Also responsible for assisting with formulating and implementing the team's technical vision, providing hands-on insight into system architecture, data software development and data warehouse design. Establishes database management systems, standards, guidelines and quality assurance for database deliverables, such as conceptual design, logical data model capacity planning, external data interface specs, data loading, data maintenance plan and security policies. Collaborates with data modelers and facilitate interaction between DBAs and data modelers for logical and physical data models. Determine appropriateness of data storage, archive, purge and backup strategies. Database designing, database performance, management and tuning experience. Enforce database standards and procedures. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to others on the team Experience Essential skills and abilities needed for the MS SharePoint Administration Tasks are: Expert level knowledge in the administration, configuration, monitoring of Windows SharePoint Services. Must have successfully implemented and operated SharePoint solutions in a medium to large size enterprise environment including integration with other development technologies. Advanced knowledge or database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005. Advanced knowledge of security considerations and technology, especially Internet Explorer. Development experience in a .NET environment using Visual Studio 2008 and C# desirable. Self motivated with the ability to set and meet deadlines, strong analytical and problem solving skills. Participate in the design, coding, and implementation of .NET solutions and requirements.
