Job Tittle : Oracle Developer Location : Nashville, TN Duration : 6 Months Rate: $35/hr Skills: Completion of a batch import stored procedures that must convert data using business rules and cross reference tables. The job must run periodically and if it fails it should clean up after itself and be able to restart at the failure point. PL-SQL, Stored Procs, Fail/Recovery procedures. Create SQL*LDR scripts for data imports and maintain the interfaces and connections to the upstream systems that supply the data. Must understand unix/shell scripting, PL-SQL, and relational databases. Application migration from Sybase to Oracle DB. Most of the scripts have been written to migrate the data for individual tables. Now the process needs to be further optimized and automated for consistency, speed, and reliability.
