VB Script * 0+ Yrs * * *Strategic Business Intelligence Consultant* The Strategic Business Intelligence Consultant needs to have the technical expertise identified below along with the ability to provide strategic solutions when there are technical challenges presented or identified. This role is a combination of someone who is a strategic thinker with excellent communications skills and technically savvy. The Strategic Business Intelligence Consultant is responsible for representing the Information Management and Development group in projects relating to data repositories and report generation across all lines of business. He/she will be involved in discussions regarding modifications existing environments and the establishment of new systems. Prior experience in analysis tools to query data repositories and/or generate reports is required to enable working with 3rd party vendors and other in-house IT groups. Responsibilities will include translating business requirements into an actionable reporting/data repository implementations. Such functions would include working alongside the other Information Management and Development subgroups during a project’s inception to help ensure the physical design meets the functional and performance requirements of the end-user application. He/she will leverage major information architecture platforms and the experience of the Information Management & Development group to apply the best alternatives for a reporting/data repository solution. In general, he/she should be comfortable *discussing information architecture concepts, disciplines and practices** *as they relate to reporting and data repositories. He/she will help to define and promote best practices on information architecture and reporting management. He/she should be able to apply business and application knowledge to understand the overall reporting/data model to ensure its appropriate placement within the client IT infrastructure. *Required Skills:* - 5-7 years of related experience implementing databases, datamarts, datawarehousing and/or Business Objects/Crystal - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience in working with business personnel at all levels - Strong SQL Server Development 2000 and 2005 - Oracle 9/10 Development & use of TOAD - Business Objects Universe Development REQUIRED - Crystal Reports & Web Intelligence Report Creation *Req#2* SQL Server DBA/ SYBASE DBA Location: Milwaukee, WI Duration: 6+ Months *JOB DESCRIPTION* 1.Good knowledge of SQL Server 2005 & Sybase ASE 15.0 database administration (3+ Years). o Should have the ability to work independently while implementing and troubleshooting the above technologies. 2. Excellent development skills using Power shell & Unix Shell scripting. o Majority of the work in the tenure will be geared towards automation using above scripting technologies. 3. Knowledge of HP-OVO would be of additional value. 4. Ability to independently work on assigned tasks and ‘provide/implement’ solutions. 5. Work collaboratively with the team when designing and implementing solutions. o Should have the ability to collaborate with extended teams within the organization. 6. Good ‘writing/verbal’ skills to document and cross train the team on the above solutions that will be implemented. *Req#3* *UDB DBA * Location: Milwaukee, WI Duration: 6+ Months No. of Positions: 2 Looking for an individual with 5+ years experience with DB2 UDB v9.x, including the following: • Troubleshooting • Database creation and schema changes • Performance tuning Good written and verbal communication skills are a necessity, as the position will require collaboration with individuals outside the DBA team. The candidate will also be expected to write technical documents and standard operating procedures. The candidate must also be familiar with data modeling techniques.
