Job Tittle : Unix / Windows Admin Location : Katonah, NY Duration : 6+Months Responsibilities: Learn the Automation systems infrastructure and functionality. Work closely with vendors, the Business, and internal and external IT teams to install, test and implement system changes and upgrades. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues (note that mechanical issues are the responsibility of the vendor) Support end-users and Business Partners Skills Required: Excellent troubleshooting skills Intermediate SQL Server 2000/2008 knowledge, Intermediate SQL knowledge, Intermediate UNIX knowledge Oracle databases and stored procedure coding, Shell scripting Basic Java Knowledge Working with external software vendors Good verbal and written communication skills Must be a consummate Team player Must be able to Provide off-hours support Pluses: Sybase databases and stored procedure coding, Windows scripting, Wireless handheld unit Vendor system integration WebServices.
