*MUST 6-8 years Core JAVA / J2EE Experience – Financial Industry Experience* Deep knowledge of Core Java Object-Oriented programming Development experience in full-lifecycle implementations Ability to analyze existing code, find improvements and code to existing standards for both modifications and new code Knowledge of JSP, JavaScript and EJB technologies Self-starting individual who can work autonomously and completed tasks on-time Knowledge of scheduling packages (Autosys a plus) and understanding how to communicate with end-users, production-support and other development personnel to analyze and fix issues/problems Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to express oneself via telephone and teleconference clearly. Understanding and use of one of the following source control systems – Subversion, CVS or Visual Source Safe. Must have experience in the financial sector with an understanding of financial controls and compliance surrounding software development.
