1) Role : Test Analyst Location: Rochester Hills, MI Rate : 45.00 Duration: 6 months * * *Must interview in-person !!* *PURPOSE OF THE JOB:* The primary role of Test Analyst is to ensure that the software developed by and for the Client meets the business and technical requirements. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*** 1. Performs all work in accordance with the Client’s policies, quality program, programs, standards and procedures 2. Maintains safety, security and privacy standards throughout all areas of responsibility 3. Will adhere to the Test Strategy Document 4. Creates test design including test cases, conditions, and identify data for testing. 5. Develops detailed test cases and conditions. 6. Builds test data and transactions. 7. Enter, track and retest Defects found during testing. 8. Develops test scenarios (strings of tests) for Integration, Gray Box, System and End-End test phases, and work with BA Team to define UAT. 9. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, for example, review requirement and design documents and provide feedback. 10. Compares actual results to expected results. 11. Records test results. 12. Provides status updates to the QA Lead. 13. Assist in resolving issues during interface testing with the Captives, Interface Team and Development Team. 14. Execute Interface testing. *REQUIRED SKILLS: *** 1*.** **Minimum 7 yrs IT testing experience*. 2. Testing experience to include: unit, integration, system, user acceptance, and regression. 3. Experience developing test scripts from Use Cases and/or Requirement documents, and Technical Documentation. 4. Maintain documentation for all testing activities. 5. Work with the Business and Technical teams to ensure issues are identified and resolved. 6. Effectively and accurately report status of testing to management. 7. Enter test data into the database. 8. Excellent organizational, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills. 9. Must be detail-oriented and possess exceptional written, verbal and organizational skills. 10. Ability to work on numerous tasks simultaneously. 11. Ability to handle working under pressure and in constrainted timelines. *OTHER REQUIREMENTS:*** 1. Work effectively and efficiently under extreme pressure and tight timelines 2. Work on more multiple releases simultaneously and within constrained timelines 3. Ability to learn new technologies quickly 4. Support all areas of the business in conjunction with normal activities 5. BS in Business Information Systems, Computer Science or related field Role: Java Architect *(Must be Senior Level)!!* Location: Rochester Hills, MI Rate : 50-52/hr C2C max (Depending on Experience) Duration: 6 months *PURPOSE OF JOB:*** Architect, design, construct, maintain, and support Client’s commercial software and back-office applications. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES:*** 1. Responsible for Client’s software application feature(s) 2. Design, document and author new application components and utilities of moderate to complex scope 3. Maintain and modify existing application code 4. Triage and correct problems with development, test and production systems 5. Assist with the review and estimation of effort and duration for features, change requests, or defects 6. Provide full-scale solutions starting from business requirements to the final application components 7. Mentor and lead junior developers in their technical growth and education 8. Perform all work in accordance with company’s quality programs, standards and procedures 9. Maintain safety, security, and privacy standards throughout all areas of responsibility. *SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:* 1. *10 years experience as a software developer and designer or architect* 2. Proficiency in J2EE 1.3.x/1.4.x/1.5.x, JSP, EJB, Struts, XML development 3. Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, DHTML and XHTML required 4. Knowledge of SQL and O-R mapping tools (Hibernate) required, PL/SQL knowledge preferred. 5. *Java or Web component developer certification useful* 6. Experience using UML standard design artifacts such as class models and sequence diagrams 7. Experience with J2EE patterns, development best practices, and iterative methodologies (RUP, XP, FDD) 8. Able to work independently on routine assignments, such as maintaining and modifying existing application programs. 9. WebSphere 5.x or 6.x or 7.x Application Server Experience 10. Experience with WebSphere Studio Application Developer (WSAD), Eclipse and/or other Java and web development tools including CVS, Jprobe, TOAD, DBVisuzalizer, MagicDraw, Fiddler, etc. 11. Experience troubleshooting and resolving application defects 12. Experience with AJAX, JSTL and/or Display Tag 13. Exposure to MQSeries and/or MDB messaging desirable *OTHER REQUIREMENTS:*** 1. B.S. in Computer Sciences or related field 2. Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills 3. Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision 4. Must have the willingness to take initiative 5. Must be detail-oriented and process focused 6. Must be a self-starter 7. Must be articulate and have excellent written and oral communication skills 8.
