*Title(s): Microstrategy developer Location: Baltimore, MD -- (FTF may be reqd) Period of Hire: 6 months Temp to Hire* Senior MicroStrategy Specialist is responsible for planning, conducting, and directing the analysis and implementation of MicroStrategy system integrations, empowering and training users in MicroStrategy, and helping to ensure the ongoing support, development, and maintenance of the MicroStrategy tool. The incumbent of this position possesses strong analysis skills with the ability to identify, review, and evaluate existing data structures. *Experience Requirements* 5-7+ years MicroStrategy Administration and Development Experience Solutions for development of cubes, dashboards and reports using MicroStrategy MicroStrategy Administration to include: Installation and Configuration; LDAP and AD Security configuration, Performance Management. Constructing data decomposition diagrams, providing data flow diagrams and documenting the process. Identifying and documenting data quality issues and data patterns. Writing code for database access, modification and construction including stored procedures. Familiarity with a variety of the field concepts, practices and procedures. Ability to rely on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform function of the job. Experience using other Business Intelligence Reporting/Querying tools as well various ETL Tools. (Examples- Informatica, Cognos, and Business Objects) would be beneficial.
