Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Prepares specifications for system changes. Recommends and initiates systems testing. Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff. *Please note:* *This position will require a varying degree of night/weekend work.* The Network Engineering Service Management team focuses on the design and delivery of change to the Client’s enterprise data networks through project and implementation coordination. The Service Management team coordinates enterprise network device service requests for our partners from end to end (Engagement, Discovery, Design, Approval and Implementation) by coordinating and tracking project tasks, creating and managing the related change controls for Network Services and coordinating and managing the implementations. *Required Skills:* * Candidate must have strong technical project management skills * Demonstrated knowledge of advanced network hardware, software and configurations, network infrastructure and design, network topologies and protocols for solutions spanning multiple business functions and geographic locations.
